If you've noticed that your Chrysler Town & Country minivan windshield is not getting fluid, faulty or corroded tubing may be the cause. You can replace the tubing yourself. The tubing is what moves fluid from the reservoir tank to your windshield. Steps below refer to Town and Country model years 1997 and later.

Instructions

    1

Locate the Chrysler Town and Country's windshield washer reservoir tank on the passenger side. It's right next to the radiator cap and opposite from the battery. You should be able to work from underneath the Town & Country without using a jack, but you may need to remove the front tire and quarter panel to reach the connections.

    2

Unhook the tubing at the windshield side first and drain the remaining fluid out of the reservoir into an empty container.

    3

Disconnect the tubing from the bottom end of the reservoir. If you didn't remove the tire and quarter panel, you'll need to be underneath the Town & Country to reach this connection.

    4

Inspect the reservoir and flush with a warm water rinse if it looks dirty.

    5

Connect the new tubing to the washer reservoir, then the windshield outlets. Use replacement tubing or tubing/valve assemblies specifically made for the Town & Country minivan.

    6

Pour fresh washer fluid into the reservoir. Test that the new tubing works and the fluid sprays onto the windshield.
