The Chevrolet C5 Corvette has a small plastic spoiler mounted low on the front bumper. This spoiler is so low to the ground it tends to make contact with the ground while driving. Eventually, this could lead to the spoiler hanging on the ground, becoming an eyesore as well as a hazard. When this happens, you need to replace the front spoiler.

Instructions

    1

Lift the front of the Corvette with the low-profile jack. Put jack stands under the jack points on the side of the chassis.

    2

Lay on your back underneath the front bumper. Locate the front spoiler, which is the black piece of plastic that's mounted to the underside of the bumper. Unbolt the spoiler from the bumper with the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket and pull the spoiler away from the Corvette.

    3

Lift the replacement spoiler up to the bumper. Install the stock hardware on the spoiler with the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket. Lower the Corvette off of the jack stands using the jack.
