Anyone who has spent time driving in adverse weather conditions knows how important it is to have a set of properly working windshield wipers. Well if you own a Chevy Cobalt, then you're in luck, because in less than 10 minutes you can replace your wiper blades. Here's how.

Instructions

    1

Raise the windshield wiper arm so that it is up and away from the windshield. After lifting it, the wiper arm will snap into the upright position.

    2

Press down on the release lever and slide the wiper assembly (fancy name for old wiper blade) toward the driver's side until you have completely removed it. You may discard the old wiper blade at this point.

    3

Slide the new wiper blade along the wiper arm track. The wiper blade will "click" when it has been properly installed.

    4

Repeat this process for the other wiper arm on your Chevy Cobalt to finish the job of replacing the wiper blades on your Chevy Cobalt.

    5

Return the wiper arms to their normal position by slowing pressing down on them until they snap back into place against the windshield.
