The side of some models of Buick Roadmaster wagons came with simulated wood trim that ran down the side of the vehicle. This is actually not made of wood, but is a tape or decal that is applied over the stock paint. This wood tape is difficult to remove, but it can be done with a little bit of patience and the correct tools.

Instructions

    1

Open the hatch and tailgate of the Roadmaster. Try to grab an edge of the tape with your fingers, and if possible, pull the tape to remove some or all of it. Work your way across the panel, trying to peel off the tape.

    2

Insert the decal eraser wheel into the drill. Turn it on at a slow speed and run it across the tape, making sure to work it in wide sections across the panel. Continue working the eraser wheel around the panel until all of the tape is off of the doors.

    3

Spray the panel using the automotive detailing spray and then wipe the panel clean with the microfiber towel.
