The Nissan Versa's fog light cover is a plastic shroud that covers the front part of the fog light assembly. It is not secured by bolts or screws; instead, it is held in place by two small clips. Removing the cover is as simple as pulling it off. However, if your goal is to remove the fog light itself, you'll want to remove the bolt on the rear part of the fog light. Doing this requires you to move the underbrush cover out of the way.

Instructions

    1

Set the Nissan Versa's parking brake. Verify that you are parked on level ground. You'll need to partially get underneath the front bumper cover to remove the fog light cover.

    2

Access the area beneath the fog light cover on the appropriate side. There is a plastic underbrush cover that extends from one side to the other. Remove a few of the bolts on the side you are on with your socket wrench. Pull the underbrush cover down slightly to provide access to the back part of the fog light.

    3

Unplug the Versa's fog light connection from behind. Feel for the fog light assembly bolt on the rear part of the fog light. Remove the bolt with your socket wrench.

    4

Grasp the front edge of the fog light cover. Pull firmly to remove it from the fog light. You'll now have access to the light itself, and can remove it with ease.
