The stock grille on a 1992 Toyota truck came in black or chrome and was used to protect the radiator from rocks and flying debris. Since the grille is in the front of the vehicle, it is also easy to damage from an accident or other mishap. When the grille is damaged or you want to access other components behind the grille, you have to take the grille off the truck, which should take around 15 minutes.

Instructions

    1

Unscrew the two screws holding the corner lenses located to the outside of the headlights using the Phillips-head screwdriver.

    2

Pull the corner lenses off the fender and twist the light bulb attached to them using your hands.

    3

Unscrew the screws holding the grille to the core support using the Phillips-head screwdriver. Pull the grille away from the truck using both hands, making sure not to hit the grille on the headlights in the process.
