Jeeps are hugely popular vehicles, mostly for their utility and great flexibility. But if your doors get damaged while going offroading or in a parking lot, you may have to replace them. In this case, the vehicle is a Jeep Wrangler, and the job should take about 10 minutes.

Instructions

    1

Place the painter's tape across the bottom of the door jam by the hinges. This is to protect the paint from damage.

    2

Open the door and unhook the strap that stops the door from opening too far, using your hands.

    3

Close the door and undo the bolt at the bottom of the door hinge using the open-end wrench. Even though the painter's tape is there, be careful not to damage the paint.

    4

Lift up the door and pull it away from the vehicle. The hinge pins are connected to the door.

    5

Insert the replacement door on the hinges by lifting it up and placing it on the hinge.

    6

Reassemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
