Recently redesigned in 2008 for the fifth time since it's creation in 1990, the Chrysler Town and Country is a great choice for a mini van. You can run into an electrical outage in this minivan as much as any other vehicle. When you have this trouble, you can replace the fuse yourself in just a few minutes.

Instructions

    1

Turn off the minivan before working with the fuses. Open the hood to access the fuse panel.

    2

Open the fuse box in the engine compartment of your Chrysler Town and County minivan, located near the battery. Read the inside cover to find the location of the fuse you need. As an example, you'll find the left parking and tail light of a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country minivan in slot F2.

    3

Remove the fuse using a fuse puller or your fingers.

    4

Check the fuse to see if the wire is melted or broken.

    5

Replace the fuse with one of the same rating. This information is listed along with the fuse locations on the inside of the fuse box cover. For example, your 2005 minivan's left lights needs a new 15-amp fuse.

    6

Click the fuse into place and close the fuse box cover. Start the Chrysler minivan and make sure the new fuse works.
