Rust on your car is a terrible thing, and the best step to take is to stop it before it spreads any farther. Depending on how much rust is on your vehicle, this job should take about 20 minutes to do.

Instructions

    1

Locate the rusted area on your vehicle, and scrub it with the wire brush. You want to remove any surface rust from the vehicle.

    2

Mask off the affected area using the masking tape and masking paper.

    3

Put on the rubber gloves, and apply the rust encapsulator. This will stop the rust from growing any farther, as well as stop any rust in the area that's not visible from growing.

    4

Apply the black spray paint to the rusted area once the rust encapsulator has dried. This is both for aesthetics as well as to add an additional layer of protection.

    5

Peel off the masking tape and masking paper and move on to the next piece.
