Removing the center console from the 1994 Chevrolet Camaro is the same as removing the console from all 1993 to 1996 Chevrolet Camaro vehicles. Unlike in some other cars, the Camaro's console screws are visible without having to remove covers or panels. You can remove the console in about 10 minutes. The console bolts are bolt-screws, so you can use either a socket wrench or a Phillips screwdriver.
Instructions
- 1
Loosen the nut around the negative battery terminal. Lift the cable up to disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
2Lift the parking brake lever to set it. Remove the two screws beneath the radio panel. These screws on are the outboard edge of the storage console section of the center console.
3Remove the Phillips screw from inside the cup holder directly behind the gear shift knob.
4Lift the center console lid. Remove the two Phillips screws from the bottom of the console. Remove the two Phillips screws behind the center console lid hinge.
5Lift the console upward. Check underneath for connections, and unplug them if necessary. Remove the console from the Camaro.
