The Chevy Avalanche has the comfort and maneuverability of a passenger car and the hauling capacity and performance of a truck. There are two types of fans used in the Chevy Avalanche: electrical and mechanical. The type of fan used in the cooling system will depend upon the model and size of the engine. Replacing the fan in either case is not too difficult.
Instructions

2Disconnect the fan harness electrical connector.
3Loosen and remove the fan-to-brace bolts.
