Offered from 1989 until 1997 the Geo Tracker is a compact SUV that comes in hard and soft top. When an electrical issue occurs in a Tracker, the fuse is most likely blown. It's easy to replace a fuse on your own in just minutes.
Instructions
- 1
Turn off your vehicle before removing a fuse. Locate the fuse box on the driver's side under the dashboard. If the fuse you need is not there, look in the fuse box under the hood, just near the battery.
2Check your Geo Tracker owner's manual or the inside of the fuse box cover to find the location of the fuse you need. Remove the fuse from its listed slot using your fingers or a fuse puller.
3Inspect the inside wire of the fuse. A blown fuse is represented by a melted or broken wire.
4Replace the blown fuse with one of the same rating. For example, a 1994 Geo Tracker uses a 15 amp fuse and is found in the passenger compartment fuse box.
5Click the new fuse into place and shut the fuse box. Check that the new fuse works once you restart your Tracker.
