Redesigned in 2007, the Chrysler Sebring has been a popular car since its inception in 1995. You can blow an electrical fuse on this car at any time because whether you have an earlier model Sebring or newer one, you can easily change a blown fuse yourself.

Instructions

    1

Turn off the ignition before touching any fuses. Consult your manual to determine the location of the fuse, or look at the fuse box itself to determine where the fuse is.

    2

Locate the fuse box in your Chrysler Sebring on the driver's side, to the left side of the instrument panel. Open the cover by pulling it out towards you.

    3

Read the inside of the fuse box cover to find the location of the fuse you need to replace. As an example, the fuse for parking lights in a 2006 Sebring is in slot 7.

    4

Remove the fuse using a fuse puller or your fingers and inspect it for damage. If the fuse is blown, the wire inside of it will be melted or broken.

    5

Replace the blown fuse with one of the same amperage rating. In a 2006 Sebring, you must replace with a 20-amp fuse to fix your parking lights.

    6

Restart your car and check to be sure that the issue is resolved. Close the fuse box cover.
