The Dodge Intrepid is a sleek vehicle, too classy to be driven around without a working turn signal light. Even a minor hazard like a broken light can become a hazard. There is no reason not to drive safely when turning signals are so easy to replace on your own in just a few minutes.

Instructions

    1

Go to the front of the car and open the hood. Locate the two screws that mount the headlight assembly or cover to the front of the vehicle. The screws are on top of the assembly at both ends. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws. Pull the headlight assembly straight off of the Intrepid.

    2

Locate the turn signal electrical connector at the outer side of the headlight assembly. There is a thick wire coming out of it. Turn the electrical bulb socket counterclockwise to take it out of the headlight assembly.

    3

Pull the turn signal bulb straight out of the electrical socket. Dispose of the old bulb immediately so it won't be a hazard.

    4

Push in a new turn signal bulb. Use bulb trade number 3157A unless your Intrepid model year owner's manual specifies a different bulb number. Reinstall the electrical socket with the new bulb in it to the headlight assembly. Turn the socket clockwise until it is tight. Push the headlight assembly back in place on the car and use and screwdriver to put the mounting screws back in.
