The grille on the front end of a 1995 Chevrolet truck provides styling cues to the front end, as well as protect the radiator, transmission cooler and AC condenser from damage in an accident. If the grille is damaged, there is a chance the components behind it can be damaged as well. To fix the problem, you must remove the old grille from the front end of the truck. This should take about 20 minutes.

Instructions

    1

Pop the hood. Remove the screws holding the corner lenses below the headlights in place using a Phillips-head screwdriver. Twist out the bulbs from the back of the lenses, and set them to the side.

    2

Unbolt the bolts holding the top of the grille to the core support using a 1/4-inch ratchet and socket. Unbolt the bolts just to the right and left of center in the bottom of the grille with the ratchet.

    3

Locate the aligning tabs on the bottom of the grille, and use a flathead screwdriver to pull them out. Pull the grille off the front end and away from the vehicle.
