The Chevy Camaro has changed throughout the years since its creation in 1967 until its last run in 2002. An electrical issue is often a result of a blown fuse and is simple to check and replace. Replacing fuses on a Chevy Camaro is the same for all model years and takes just minutes to do.

Instructions

    1

Shut down the car before working with the fuses. Locate the fuse box in your Camaro on the driver's side. It's to the left of the instrument panel.

    2

Open the cover on the instrument panel to expose the main fuse box. Read the inside cover to find out the location of the fuse you need. For example, in a 2002, Camaro the hazard lights are in the STOP/HAZARD slot.

    3

Remove the fuse using your thumb and index finger and look at the wire inside. If the fuse is blown, the wire is burned out.

    4

Put in a fuse of the same amperage into the slot. The hazard lights referenced in Step 2 will use a 20-amp fuse.

    5

Click it into place and close the cover. Start the Camaro and verify the new fuse works properly.
