The Dodge Intrepid is available in model years from 1994 to 2004. When you own one of these, you can easily replace a blown fuse yourself. The process is the same for replacing a fuse on any year of Dodge Intrepid.
Instructions
- 1
Shut off your car before working with the fuses. Find your fuse box, located on the driver's side of the dashboard.
2Open the fuse box by pulling it. Look at the inside cover to find out the location of the fuse you need.
3Remove the fuse with a fuse puller or gently use your fingers. Inspect the inside wire-if it's blown the wire is either melted or broken.
4Replace the blown fuse with one of the same rating. You can find this information written on the inside of the fuse cover. For example, a 1997 Dodge Intrepid uses a 10-amp mini fuse for its back up lights.
5Close the fuse box and restart your Intrepid. Verify your electrical issue has been resolved.
