The 1997-2004 Chevrolet Corvette was the fifth version of the Corvette, and designated as the C5. These vehicles come with sun visors that can be folded down when the sun gets in your face so you don't get blinded. If you ever need to remove these visors though, it can be a bit tricky because there is no obvious way to remove them. Once you learn the tricks though, you can remove the visors in just a few minutes.

Instructions

    1

Sit in the car. Fold down the sun visor so that it's in the position it would be in if you needed the sun blocked while driving. Locate the small slit in the round plastic panel around the pivot point for the visor.

    2

Stick the blade of the flathead screwdriver into the slit in the panel. Push it upwards and turn the slit towards the side window while simultaneously pushing the screwdriver up until the visor falls out of the roof (turn it counter clockwise if you're on the driver's side visor, clockwise for the passenger side visor).

    3

Unplug the electrical connection to the visor using your hands. Remove the visor from the car.
