How to Order a Tiburon Door Handle

The Hyundai Tiburon was a sports coupe sold from 1997 to 2008. The Tiburon underwent a major redesign for the 2003 model year. If one of your Tiburon's door handles is broken, you'll need to order a new one to replace it. The exterior or interior door handle may be broken. Hyundai recommends using original factory replacement parts for your Tiburon, but you may also order an aftermarket door handle, providing it is specifically made for the Tiburon.

Step to the driver's side area of the Tiburon, between the windshield and the edge of the hood. Inspect the area between the windshield and the edge of the hood. You'll see a 17-digit number. This is the Tiburon's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).

Write the VIN down and double-check it for accuracy. You'll need this number to order the correct door handle for your Hyundai Tiburon.

Determine whether you need the interior door handle or the exterior door handle.

Visit or call your nearest Hyundai dealer to order a replacement door handle. Ask for the parts department. Specify the Tiburon's model year, VIN, and whether you need the interior or exterior door handle. Order the door handle.
