The Geo Metro was in production for just less than 20 years. But when owning one, it's possible you'll experience a blown fuse at one time or another. Replace the blown fuse with a new one on your own in just a matter of minutes.
Instructions
- 1
Turn off your Geo Metro before performing work with any fuse. Locate the fuse box that's on the driver's side below the steering wheel on the left.
2Remove the fuse box cover to reveal the fuses. Read the inside of the cover to locate the appropriate fuse needing replacement.
3Pull out the fuse using your thumb and index finger and inspect the inside wire. A blown fuse will have a broken or melted wire.
4Replace the blown fuse with one of the same amperage. Verify this on the box cover as replacing a blown fuse with a fuse that has the wrong amp rating can cause additional problems.
5Shut the fuse box and restart your Geo Metro. Test out the new fuse to verify it works.
