How to Install an ABS Relay in an Acura Integra

The ABS Relay for the Acura Integra is incorporated into the Electronic Brake Control Module. The ABS relay is very easy to access and replace. The Acura Integra's ABS Relay is located behind the right quarter trim panel. No special tools are needed to install an ABS relay in the Acura Integra.

Instructions

Disable the battery by disconnecting the negative cable.

Remove the trim panel for the right quarter. Set the panel aside.

Take the electrical connectors off the control unit for the ABS system.

Remove the mounting fasteners carefully and remove the unit.

Clean the surface area and attach the mounting fasteners to the new unit.

Reconnect the electrical connectors and replace the trim panel.

Reconnect the battery and start the car. See if the ABS light comes on when the car starts and drive the care to make sure the new unit is in proper working order.
