Take good care of your Dodge Ram with regularly scheduled maintenance. Even if you're a novice mechanic, you can check your battery's electrolyte fluids to make sure the battery is adequately charged.

Instructions

    1

    Park your Dodge Ram on level ground. Turn the engine off and open the hood.

    Locate the battery on the driver's side in front of the window washer fluid container. The Dodge Ram is a tall truck, so you may need to use a step stool to check the battery's electrolyte fluid levels.

    Check the battery test indicator on top of the battery. The indicator changes color if the battery is not getting enough charge. If you see a yellow indicator eye, change the battery.
