Any car, including a Nissan Sentra, can blow a fuse at any time. Whether you own an original 1962 model or a more recent one, it's the same process to replace one and only takes a few minutes of your time to do.

Instructions

    1

Start by turning off the car. Locate the main fuse box under the dashboard of the passenger compartment of your Nissan Sentra.

    2

Pull the cover down to open and towards you to remove it. Read the inside panel of the fuse box to figure out the location of the fuse you must replace.

    3

Use the fuse puller inside to remove the appropriate fuse. Look at the wire in the middle of the fuse to see if it's burnt.

    4

Replace the blown fuse with a new one of the same rating. Verify the fuse's rating against the inside cover of the fuse box. For example, the 2006 Nissan Sentra has a 10 amp mini fuse.

    5

Push the fuse in and close the cover. Check the fuse once the car is started.
